2007 Stranger Conversations – Artist in residence, Terra Arts Millicent, November 07 – May08 (7 x 2 days fulltime over the 6 month period).

 

Employment

2012 – 14 Lecturer in Contemporary Studio Practice and supervising honours and Third Year Studio Major Study at Adelaide Central School of Art (ongoing).

2011 ABC Open Producer for the North and West region of SA. Fulltime role for 11 Months (25.2.11 – 25.1.12). ABC Open is a participatory project developed by the Australian Broadcasting Corporation www.abc.net.au/open

2009/10 Lecturer in digital media at Adelaide Central School of Art (commenced 1.2.08, ending 1.12.2010). Lecturer Video Art and Digital Media, Adelaide College for the Arts. Commenced 1.2.2008, ended 1.12.2010.

Invigilator for the Australian Pavilion at the Venice Biennale. 2 month fulltime (October, November 09).

2008 SA State Manager for mega: Media Enterprise Growth Alliance; an industry led training program developing innovation in the SA creative and digital content industries.

2005/7 The following roles were delivered within working .8 of fulltime, 1.5.05 – 1.9.07 for the Australian Network for Art and Technology:

Management of ANAT Media Lab 07 entitled Still/Open. The Lab brought in international thinkers and artists to workshop open source approaches to science, technology and the arts.

Developed and Manage Portable Worlds touring new media exhibition in partnership with Country arts and with support from Visions of Australia. Presented the exhibition at the Pocket Film Festival at Pompidou Centre Paris (with Australia Council professional development funding).

Developed and worked as a trainer on pixel.play; youth digital media program as part of an Australia Council ‘Emerging Artist in Community Projects’ Funding with key industry partner Australian Network for Art and Technology.

Developed and ran Mobile Phone Filmmaking workshops for New Zealand International Film Festival.

2009 Arts SA Makers and Presenters to present Long Distance with Port Adelaide Festival 2009.

2008 Arts SA emerging artist mentorship with established artist Lisa Harms.

2007 pixel.play wins Innovation in Digital Media Award at the SA Short Screen Award, Film Festival, Australia Council Visual Arts funding to travel Portable Worlds exhibition to Pompidou Centre.

2006 Australia Council EPIC funding (second year funding) for Internship with Australian Network for Art and Technology, South Australian Youth Arts Board emerging artist project grant for Sleeping and Sweeping Adelaide City

05/06 Australia Council funded EPIC (Emerging Producer in Community Scheme) internship ANAT 2004 Flinders University Film Production Awards: Best Production Design in an Honours Film 2004.

99/03 Adelaide Central School of Art full scholarship
